We visited the Edinburgh Castle in the morning. It was sunny with strong will. The concourse in front of the castle did not allow parking any more. It was Sunday and we got a parking bay easily down the hill at the Castle Terrace. Walking to the castle took just 5 minutes but it was really chilling.
There were quite a lot of visitor but the ticketing office was quite effective. The entrance fee has been adjusted up by 2 pounds since my last visit. The view from the castle to the port and surrounding areas were beautiful. We spent about 2 hours inside the castle because the gust was so strong that you did not want to stay outside for much time!
