After visiting the Edinburgh Castle, we drove to the Scottish Seabird Centre at North Berwick. It was around a hour drive there from Edinburgh city centre. We were on the highway until Haddington and then entered a small road towards the seashore, which emerge through the farms and villages. The small road was calm and beautiful, especially when we were returning in the evening. May be dued to seasoning issue, we did not see a lot of birds at the seabird centre! The seabird centre was located in small village at the seashore, foreseeing the Bass Rock in to the east. There is a beach next to it, shelters for the boats and some rocks forming a short path going out to the sea. Sea Gulls were flying there and some other small water birds were seen. The Puffins would not return to this area until late March. We have to come back again in the right season to see that lovely bird.
